Mr.Alex Chun-bong Wong is the managing partner of C. B. Wong & Co., a Certified Public Accountants firm. He is also the non-executive director of World Wide Touch Technolgy (Holdings) Limited, a Hong Kong listed company. Before Alex set up his own practice, he had worked in Price Waterhouse (Price Waterhouse Coopers) in both audit division and tax division. He also worked in Department of Accountancy of Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Lecturer on Audit and Tax. Alex has over 30 years’ experience in auditing, taxation, accounting and financial management. Mr. Wong is a fellow member of a number of professional bodies. He is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK). He is also an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

In addition to his daily work, Alex serves as a member of a number of committees in various professional bodies and government offices. He currently serves as a member of the Small and Medium Practitioners Leadership Panel of HKICPA, the Tax Subcommittee and Student Affairs Subcommittee of ACCA Hong Kong. He was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of ACCA Hong Kong 1999/2000 and Chairman of ACCA’s Small and Medium Size Enterprise Committee. He had also served as a member of the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department’s Users Committee.

Mr. Wong is also a frequent speaker on tax and SME related matters for various organizations and professional bodies. Since 2000, Mr. Wong has been invited to serve as Honorary Treasurer of the China Candlelight Educational Fund.
